The International Max Planck School for Advanced Materials (IMPRS-AM) is a joint project of the Max Planck Institutes in Stuttgart and the University of Stuttgart. The research interests of the IMPRS-AM cover a broad spectrum from fundamental to performance-oriented chemistry, physics and materials science. The research activities will be focused on three areas: 1) Physics and Chemistry in Low Dimensions, 2) Interface Controlled Materials, and 3) Nanoscience

Nanotechnology Platform at Parc Científic Barcelona (PCB) in Spain (Postdoctoral position)

We seek a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in nanotechnology, biomaterials and regenerative medicine. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, materials science, chemistry or related field, and have experience with scaffold biomaterials. In particular, candidates working with hyaluronic acid, hydrogels, self-assembling peptides, and/or dendrimers are encouraged to apply. Other desirable qualities include experience working with micro/nanofabrication, clean-room compatible processes, and cell and tissue culture. We are interested in a candidate that is independent, task-driven, and proactive, as well as a team player who thrives in interdisciplinary environments.
