Postdoctoral position in Biochemistry at University of Kwazulu-Natal

2. The focus area of our research group is the chemical synthesis of inhibitors targeting HIV, Type II Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Cancer, TB, Epilepsy, Malaria and Hypertension.
3. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Biological sciences with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications. Experience in mammalian cell culture (human cell lines), biochemical, in vitro cell-based cytotoxic and apoptotic high throughput screening assays will be beneficial. Fluency in English and strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
4. The position will start in Jan 2011 (in special cases a staring date sooner will be considered) and will be for 2 years, depending on satisfactory performance in the first year. 
5. Applicants should be younger than 35 years and should have obtained their PhD in the last 3 years.
